Unlimited release. Having downed his fourth Imperial Stout of the day, the wild eyed charlatan from Voldvostognlaky belched and hollered for the Czarina to enter his chamber and bend herself to his will. The economy was a wreck and revolt was just around the corner. Nicky the Czar dude was off playing soldier like any pale nobleman with a hemorrhagic skin condition would. Such were final days of the old empire. Reactionary, decadent, sputnik, stroganoff, weird, and drunk. But even as the proletariat countryside labored under inhuman conditions and a threat of being sent to a futile war in the east, they wisely took the time to slam back an Imperial Stout or two. After all, life can be real suka, as they said in the old country. Big, black, bourgeois, bolshoy, belligerent, buxom and scary - this is our version of the chaotic and of an era in a bottle. Or just call us at 1-707-769-4495. 72.45 IBU. 1.092 OG. Alc. 9.9% by vol. Brewed and bottled by the Lagunitas Brewing Co. Petaluma, California.

Rich; roasty; vanilla. High gravity. Craft brewed in New Holland, MI. A stout with Roasty malt character intermingled with deep vanilla tones, all dancing in an oak bath. Pairings: red meat, smoked foods, balsamic, rich cheese & dark chocolate. Enjoy as you please and for yourself. Stop & taste. We've been thinking - Our world is speeding up, closing in, and stealing time. The to-do list is growing longer, but our lives are growing shorter. Getting off the grid is harder than ever. It's time to step back, to stop being too busy all the time. It's time to break the rhythm of a life that's too fast. Let's take time to talk and taste. Let's decide to linger over flavors and conversations. Let's decide to live deliberately today. If we forget how to enjoy our lives, then even if we win, we lose. If we forget how to breathe, we forget how to live. Let's take time to turn down the noise and turn off the screens. Let's eat and drink together, talking and sharing; indulging in the unhurried meal, mindful of what matters. We can eat and drink like no generation before. The world is in our glass and on our plate. Let's not make this harder than it has to be; crowding our tastes with judgment or prejudice. Flavor is without limits, so enjoy as you please, and for yourself. Slow down. Let your mind wander.

Brewed in the tradition of the 18th century English brewers who supplied the Russian court of Catherine the Great, Old Rasputin develops a cult following wherever it goes. It's a rich, intense brew with big, complex flavors & a warming finish. North Coast Brewing Old Rasputin has been well-recognized in tasting competitions since its introduction. Four straight gold medals at the World Beer Championships in Chicago rank Old Rasputin among the world's elite. A memorable drink. Contrary to what the name suggests, Russian Imperial Stout was originally brewed in 18th century England. The name evolved as the Russian Imperial Court developed an early appreciation for this big, intense brew and provided an eager export market. It's been speculated that no one had a greater appreciation for this rich, roasty elixir than Rasputin, the mystic wag (and favorite of the ladies of the court) who was the ultimate downfall of Czar Nicholas II. Rasputin is probably best remembered for his dramatic exit. Having been deemed politically expendable, he was fed poisoned wine and tea cakes by his rivals. Surviving that, he was shot several times - whereupon he attacked his assailants. He finally succumbed when bound and stuffed through a hole in the ice to drown in the river Neva. Legends that attribute his tenacity to his appetite for Russian Imperial Stout are unproven.
