The Journey Red Blend is about balance, inspired by the elegance of the right bank Bordeaux wines from the old world. Every vintage, we choose the best blocks of the vintage from our estate. Primary, a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The fruit is cold soaked and then fermented, the wine was then drained and pressed in small basket presses. Our Journey Red Blend is elegant and the quality that we have in this Merlot based blend is a testament to our vineyards. This elegant red wine offers layered aromas of dark berries and cedar with hints of dry tarragon. On the palate, coffee and powdered cocoa followed by a silky, textured finish with impeccable acidity. Pair with roasted and grilled red meats, stews and a fig and cheese platter. This bottled red blend is 14.5% alcohol by volume.
